Real Festa: Fire Truck and Stars Birthday Party

Another Festa to share:
This time we celebrated Tomas 3rd birthday with a Fire Truck and Stars Theme party. The big event took place in a local Fire Station. We had the opportunity to enjoy a tour of the Station, a presentation of how the fire men get ready for a call. The kids climbed the trucks and spent some time with the braves firemen. It was fun for the kids and for the parents, too.

I created a dessert table inspired in a vintage fire truck and stars. I included cupcakes, chocolate cake, cups of fruit, cookies on a stick and some candies all using the matching colors: red, beige and brown.
The guest tables where decorated with some wooden cars holding balloons on paper stars .

Congratutalions to Tomas' parents, Fernanda and Josh. The party was fun fun. Good job.

Real Festa: Elmo's birthday Party

A good friend of mine, AnaLya, asked me for a dessert table for her son Nicolas's 2nd birthday celebration.
It was a great party. Kids had a blast. They enjoyed jumping in the bouncy castle, decorating cookies, playing games and enjoyed the puppet show.
Congratulations AnaLya and Nicolas, the celebrations was great and of course, thank you for letting Festa be part of it.

I chose red and aqua colors to match the "Elmo" theme and style a small table with some treats: small cake for the candle, cupcakes, krispies, m&m's and pretzels.

Joseph's 5th Birthday Party

I took some days off from blogging, but I am back with some pictures from my son's 5th birthday party. It was a picnic and Bakugan's theme celebration. We had games, prizes, picnic food, snow cones and lot of fun. We welcomed the guest through a ticket booth where they redeemed the entrance ticket (invitation). The received a t-shirt with the birthday logo and tickets to play games and win prizes (little toys, necklaces, instruments, etc). Joseph had a great time with friends and his grandparents from Mexico. Special thanks to Andrea Melo for the great pictures.

Real Festa. Bakugan's Party on the planning.

I started to put Joseph's birthday ideas in paper. I am choosing red, navy and pool blue for the colors and I promised him I won't forget to have his Bakugans in mind. I am planning on having an outdoor celebration in our backyard. Hopefully, the weather will stay this way to keep the plan going. I would like to focus this time in the fun. I am having a bunch of 5 year olds I have to entertain. I want games, prizes, stations and fun food. I haven't decided details, but I will post details when time comes. I want Joseph to have the best time of his life.

New Festa. Joseph's 5th Birthday.

My son, Joseph, will be 5 in 10 days! I know I am little behind...but, because the Easter vacation and my parents visit I am postponing his celebration one more week. So, 3 weeks, we are just in time for sending invitations. I just need to get inspired. He is asking for Bakugan party! I think I need some of those popular inspirational boards. Well, I need to go and start working...I will be back with some ideas pretty soon.

Thomas the Tank Engine Birthday party

I got few pictures of Nico's Thomas the Tank Engine 2nd Birthday party. I made few things to decorate the cake table like the paper banner, a sign that said "choo choo Nico is two! I made some turquoise cake pops and fix some jars with colorful candies. I made some paper plates for the hot dogs and little "Yummy flag". It was a fun party, but I don't want to get all the credit for it. Her mom, good friend of mine, worked hard. She had a bouncy castle, a train to ride, pinata (by the way, it was the first time I experience a Colombian style pinata...the one you pull a string, no hitting with a stick???...anyway...) she also prepared lots of crafts and games. Did I mention she is a excellent photographer...well, she sent me pictures of the few details I helped with. Thank you Andrea!

Car's Theme Party

These cars are an amazing attraction for the small drivers. You can organize a race or just let them ride them. My son enjoyed so much the set of cars I created for his 3rd Car's birthday party. I cut the top off a medium size box, cut out some circles on the side and top, painted them, decorated with some print outs and for tires I glued black paper plates. They ended pretty good!

Dinosaur Party

For his 4th birthday, my son Joseph, asked for a Dino-mite celebration. I couldn't take many pictures of the details but I was glad to see some from my friends.

We divided our backyard by stations. 1. Welcome by personalized hats with the guest dino-names 2. Dino-Tattoos 3. An excavation site, the most crowded station! (we fill our sand box with buckets, pails, shovels and molds! 4. Play-dough Time. We had a table full of play-dough and dinosaurs cookie cutters) and last one 5. Gamo-o-saurus. A game to stick some bones to the dinosaur. For the kids to take home, I arrange Excavation Kits (buckets filled with dinosaurs, pails, binoculars, and more related items.

Lunch was grilled hamburgers for the big herbivores and hotdogs for the little ones. Joseph had an amazing time. He said "mom my party was awesome!" We hit the goal!
